Hey guys, i have a $1000 audio insurance claim for my sis's car which she just traded in for a CRV, so she said i could use it for my car. the stereo in it now is pretty good already(clarion deck/sub/speakers/amp) but iam thinking of upgrading the deck and getting an alarm.....any recomendations on what i should get? i want the ipod hook up and i heard the alpine 9857 is a good unit anyone have it?.....to bad i couldn't take the $1000 and spend it on some mods other then audio

if you want the $, just buy any set up then flip it for cash and buy yourself something nice?

you should be able to spend it on whatever you want.

Claim for audio doesn't mean you have to replace it with the same audio. Go find a thousand dollar electric supercharger.
