ap2 mirror on ap1 clip?

ap2 mirror on ap1 clip?
Hey guys, I have an ap1, last year the guy that changed my windshield broke my mirror because the the screw to loosen the clip was seized. I found one in the for sale section but its an ap2. Do any of you guys know if the ap2 mirror will clip onto the metal part thats glued the to windshield thats an ap1?
