Oh, I was saying it didn't look like something that would be easily handheld, you would need 2 hands to carry it around, so it seems. Not like a GPS with the unit all built into one.

ok, gotcha....
the car holder that comes with it has a place to put both items....it then can be attached to a gooseneck pole - but you don't have to....you could keep it on your seat or ashtray or something.
ideally though, there would be no reason to carry the antenna around with you - however, i've actually got it velcroed in the car in case i'm in a sketchy neighbourhood and don't want to leave it in the car.
i've just been taking the palm in and out of the car - leaving the antenna in the car at all times.

Yeah, so it works only in car.
That's why I got something like this, I can use it anywhere and also in the car, all integrated. Suits me better.

no, it's working as i sit here in my office - i'm looking for vince's house 
but you do have to carry 2 pieces of "equipment" then.
i can't find vince's actual county road......his town pops up though.

My wife travels 25-30% in rental cars in Canada and the U.S. she loves the thing. Small enough to travel with easily, eliminated the need for the extra palm pilot. I've used it, it's great!
