mine? I donno if it is but everything Ive read has said that Vince's is. Whats your memory? can you store all of Canada? I cant, Vince can. Ive got 64MB.

I think the Mapsource maps are said to be the best also....That said, Id like to see yours! Is it practical to walk around with your GPS working or is the antenna rediculus?

I almost bid on Vinces unit on Ebay - seems to be going for $650ish these days.....

all of can. is 72megs....i had to add a mem card - maps are from navteq (not mapsource). a one gig card was 80 bucks.

there is no antenna....you have the palm pilot and you have a very small (and light) bluetooth receiver (wireless).

the receiver is smaller than a motorola V60 battery cover.

was catching wifi signals all over town....my local starbucks wifi (i think it's from there) catches almost to my house (it's 2 lights away).

So how good are the maps? Can you get a route to the closest gas station? Will it find all addresses? Vince's house in there? Rural roads?

So you can walk around with the GPS working perfectly? Canada and US?

Nice screen?

maps just came out....the actual unit was built a few weeks ago, but didn't ship as dell was waiting for the latest generation of maps.

haven't checked for rural addresses.

it's down in the car....i'll go get it at lunch and check.

throw me a rural address....i'll check it.

big colour screen....sexy female voice...it has an icon for restaurants....haven't seen for anything else....but i think you can program the icons...i just haven't yet.

I ordered an IQue 3600. Hopefully I get it this week. Seems to do everything I want with awesome maps of Canada and the US.

Where did you get a 1 Gig Card for $80? SD?

Employee price is $80 but they sell it for $649? Haha, $649 that's funny for a 1 gig SD card (checked their website). Futureshop has them for $199 but I've seen them as low as $129.

Wait the Dell wireless bluetooth thing looks like a big antenna, or at least a box. Can you actually carry it around? Looks like it would be best stuck on the dash of a car than trying to use it as a portable GPS unit.

EDIT: you need power for the antenna don't you? So it's not portable then.

Bah, sounds like a cool toy though.

i can't even understand what you're trying to say in your post....

receiver has a rechargable battery in it - it's the size of a motorola V60 - but with no weight to it.

i fully charged it on thursday and i've been using it since without a recharge.
