glenmorangie is OKAY - but Lagavulin is GREAT....

Ive found another that I really like, and its dirt cheap too!

Tomatin - a Highland single malt kinda Macallan like, semi peaty, a bit smokey, a bit fruity..$45 a bottle! Cheap.

Mind you on 9/24 and 9/25 I will be at Watkins Glen being a part of the return of open-wheel racing.

If you liked the Lagavulin... you can also try the Bowmore Islay. Also priced for "less" special occassions. Also under $50 if i recall.

Will keep the Tomatin in mind... is it available at the Beach LCBO?

tried green on the weekend....ugh, horrible.

i'll save the 18 bucks and stick to black.

Tried Blue over the summer... not overly impressed.

On the wedding day, my dad cracked a really old bottle of black (over 20yrs in the bottle)... i know scotch doesn't age in the bottle but it definately was different from the new bottle i had at home. Much more complex.
