I just bought an AP2 center console and it has a defrost button in the middle of it which I cannot use. Anyone looking for a center mounted defroster that wants to trade?

Good luck with a possible trade. I know you don't want to buy one of those center silver pieces.

I once wanted to buy the silver replacement piece for my ap2 console, I almost fell off my chair when I saw what the dealer wanted for that small piece. It is stupid expensive.

Ya they wanted $90+ for a piece of plastic! If anyone is interested I'm including the defroster button too

Will this fit in an AP1 Center-Console? I guess not right?

I picked upan OEM Hard Top, and has the Defroster Wiring and all that jazz.

Nope, this is only for AP2 center consoles... Though there is an OEM option for AP1:


It replaces your change holder however.
