Default any special rates for broadband service?

I was on the phone yelling at the service manager about my slow and unreliable service.... they gave me a petty 1 week credit and a service call for switching modems for next week...after 8 years of being with rogers

I am pretty sure I am switching service after this month...

now with all the options out there, which service is the most reliable / cheap and fast??

BTW, Gord from Rogers CS if you are reading this, you can suck my balls... fuking rudest service you can get...

ADSL is Asymmetric Digial Subscriber Line (or Loop)
Upload not equal to download speed... usually download is much faster which is what Bell offers..

DSL is Digial Subscriber Line (or Loop)
Upload = Download speed

ISDN is Integrated Services Digital Network (voice+data on phone lines)
operates at 128k... slower

yup....

ADSL is really plug and play.. they use your phonelines.. so it's work on their end.. nothing needs to be done at your house.. just plug in the modem... and to your computer.. that's it!
