well, you would have to wait untill someone sells a used set, otherwise you will pay out the ass..

the other side, is there are some gorgeous aftermarket rims available, that are most likely lighter then the 04 oems too.

 

do they make rims in carbon fibre? I think I'm going to get some of those to compete with Dave....

Ian, I can think of a couple of reasons, but neither probably warrant the trade in...

1 - 4 hole oil jet bolts in the late '02s and up
2 - 02 and up dyno higher

 

3 - stiffer springs

#1 and #3 you can correct yourself....#2, maybe/supposedly with an ECU upgrade, but i'm not sure.....

 

one advantage your
pockets would be lighter:would have more room for stuff like your hands
less money in the bank: wont have to collect that pesky thing called interest
ooo maybe you can even get some higher insurance
