There was a racing video posted of two S2k's recently, one had altered gears and the other didn't, everything else was equal. The S2K with altered gearing did not win the street race, though techically it should be faster.

there is a lot of videos of everything ... a geared s2000 is faster then a non geared one end of story (untill you get maybe 150 plus). I have 4.77 and it was the only mod that actually made a difference

Cleans, can I check out your ride in 2013? Would love to see how the 4.77 feels before I take the leap.

Jinder if he doesnt have his car in the spring time you are welcomed to see how 4.77 is on mine. I'm going to do it over the winter, It looks fun

Gotta account for the extra weight in the ap2 with the passenger but can't deny those gears make S2000s fast... faster

yes of course... all i was trying to do was prove that an ap1 with a higher final drive is a lot quicker. In no way was i trying to say ap1> ap2 blah blah lol.

he has it on ap2? ... 4.44 on an ap2 compares more to 4.77 on an ap1 i would say.
