Congrats! Drive it thru the winter and you'll really get a feel for this amazing car. Just don't do it with S02s.

Thx Fred for clearing that up and adding a compliment! I felt like the guys thought I was some perverted dude looking for chicks w/s2. Meet sounds good...maybe the earlier the more ppl? Of course I don't want to drive a POS but it might be safer as long as it's reliable. Looking at some 93+ civics. It would cost less than hardtop+winters.

hardtop $2300
OEM 16" winter rims = $500
brand new winter tires = $1000

Total = $3800

you get a 93 beat up civic and you need to fix it up and possibly new tires too... you sure that's gonna be less than 3800?
not to mention you are going to maintain 2 cars ... I drove mine through two winters... you can see how well it can be kept...

Welcome to the board, if you are interested in getting to know you car a bit better there is a lapping day at Shannonville this saturday i will be at. As for the winter beater, i just got a 92 civic for myself. It has some mods so it kinda isn't a beater but i don't want to chance other drivers running into my S when it snows.

Another S2000 Fan =)
I wouldn't drive the S2000 in the winter =) It wasn't ment to be driven in the snow. I think you should spend alittle more money on a winter beater maybe 6-8G. So you know that you'll get a better product at the end. What you pay is what you get ;p. Two of my friend bought honda beater that cost 4 G and spent more than 2G just fixing it up.

Just my 2 cent

BTW Mann The Hard top is mine!!!! I just need to find someway to make some extra cash. Maybe I'll pimp my girl at To this weekend ;p
