the things i noticed (instantly) was the wheel was lighter, pedal was firmer and fade was less after hard, repeated, stops (salamander).

never took the car to the track, so i can't comment.

day to day, you appreciate the savings in un-sprung weight and the firmer pedal, but you're probably not stopping any faster.

keep in mind, the wilwood kit not only includes bigger hardware, but it also includes upgraded fluid and s/s brakelines.

the package as a whole is probably more "efficient" than stock - this may be negligible on/for the street, but others swear by it (over stock) on the track.

the mods I consider most worthy
coilovers---performance and look
exhaust---performance(?) look and sound
rims---for bling bling purpose.

what issues did you have Nimesh?.....why wouldnt it grip on a wet track? wouldnt that be more tire related?

my car was too stiff for wet weather grip......

it could be the tires, but not to the point where there was NO grip.

i was sliding everywhere.....

the stiffer the suspension, the more vertical force is put on the road. now, try and apply power on a wet road....what happens?

think about professional racing series - F1, IRL, CART, etc....

they soften up the suspension whenever there are wet conditions.

Ummm, no they change the tires.....when have you ever seen F1 change suspension settings in the pits (other than the amount of wing)????

well no matter how stiff the suspension Id say that the same amount of vertical force is applied. The suspension geometry hasnt changed, nor has the mass of the car...

I can see how a less rebound could mess you up in the wet, but stiffness? I dont get it...
