I was offered this by the dealer for $1500...they basically give you a new s2k if total loss or stolen for next 5 years....have any of you purchased this? My regular insurance has 2 year new value coverage. I would get what I paid for this car if totalled or stolen from my regular insurance policy

Also is the extended warranty for 6 years/100k worth it for this car?

window etching 450!?!?!?!?!???!?!?! 99 bucks we charge at my dealership....
what a profit margin they are trying to make dealer cost on it is 60 bucks
and i wouldn't get the extra warr cause the odds of lost or stolen not recovered are slim however its your car i dont want to be the guy u blame if g-d forbid somehting happens
i just wouldn't do it and i would also pass on the extended (my business manager would kill me if he heard me talk like that)

My warranty is expired, I have an extended, and so far my costs would have been about 1800 bucks... so in my case it was well worth the money

Yeah. You can buy a extended warranty anytime you want and it doesn't have to be from the dealer. It's really just a special type of insurance that you can buy (probably cheaper) from other companies.
