$32,000,000 USD buys the ferry...
The city of Rochester now owns the ferry, I am so excited.! The mayor believes the service will be back up and running by end of May.
The ferry now gets pulled out of the Port of Rochester and goes to dry-dock for some repairs and some painting, the CATS logo and some other things need to be removed.
Our mayor has put a lot of effort into this, and from the sound of the news it will be a lot easier to run this operation as public transportation instead of a private organization like CATS was.

isn't watkins glen, no hard top no s2000 runs ?

In fact I'm teaching this spring for an organization I have never played with before, the SCDA. I know we already have a couple of the Upstater's signed up for that school. There is a thread in Upstste of all places about the school...

As an FYI, from the Port of Rochester it would be closer to 2 hours. I live closer to The Glen than the Port of Rochester and it takes me 1.5 hours to get there.
