I'm all for full track but I have the same concerns as Dave. We don't need people who've never been there going into the wall on the first lap.
How many people are we thinking, if we want to offset the costs we can invite some of the MINI folks..lots of those guys are serious track guys as well.

What we need to do is invite ppl who can be an instructor for a morning and give them a free afternoon of track time in return. This assumes that after a morning of instruction ppl wouldnt be yahoos in the afternoon when theyre alone and it also assumes that ppl are comfortable being alone in the afternoon (not sure I would have been first day).
There are two NSX guys who instruct at Mosport. I bet there are some Subby guys who do. Maybe a couple of chicks with Minis know their way around there too .
Either that or we pay for instructors for those who want. I would HIGHLY reccomend that ANYONE who has not driven that track before have an instructor in the car for the first while. Perhaps those with lots of track time may get by with a lead follow sesson, but even that makes me nervous.
Simon - email me for the guys number who ran the days Ive been to. The cost of having his team participate may be too much, but its worth asking....

I'll say I'm in for sure if we're under $300. (25-30 paid cars though... unlikely, sorry to be pesimistic.)
Any idea how many cars are allowed in a single run group? You can easily have two, maybe three run groups there and still get your fill of laps.
Lastly, there's no mention of instructor costs. It's takes only small quantities of inexperience and over confidence to reduce the number of S2000 in the GTA there.
