I'm in the market for an s2k and I'm trying to decide between model years and if it's worth the extra money. Are there any differences between MY2000 and MY2001? How about MY2002 and MY2003? I know that between 2001 and 2002 the stereo was upgraded, tail lamps, rear defogger, and door map pockets.

The only difference between EARLY model 2002 and LATE model 2002 or 2003 is that they came with updated banjo bolts.

Search the S2000 talk forum, this has been discussed a million times before. The major difference really is the rear glass window in the 2002+.

the only difference is 2000-2001 had a plastic rear window, 2002-present has a real glass window. I hated my plastic rear window, got a lot of scratches, difficult to see out of, and it fogged up (no defoger on plastic).
