Arrow 1st ticket...

today i got a ticket for a lane change not in safety.. Has anyone ever tired to fight a one of these, i dont think i was at fault, the cop says i cut him off

you cut off a cop? either way fight it. hopefully cop wont show and will get thrown out or you plead innocent with a good story.

lol i did the same thing,

cut off a cop (accidently)

she dropped it from reckless toimproper lane change, i still fought it.
lost but had fine reduced...
this was years ago...

^ or say there was some debris (insert object here) in your lane that you had to avoid not hitting...I doubt the officer can argue that....

^^^ cant say that because they will argue that the debris that will dmg your car is far less important then doing a dangerous maneuver that could side swipe a police officer and might even kill him.

always fight it, you can likely get it reduced if not eliminated. good luck.

HAHa.. what a great way.. cutting off an officer.. lol.. he/she will show up most likely hahah.. very rare they don't anymore... but good luck finding an excuse to plead in front of the judge!

ya fight it or pay a paralegal 300 to make it go away. option 2 allows you to not miss work and/or school but does cost a bit.

this happened to my sis last year where she apparently cut some other car off and teh cop saw it. they claimed that since the car behind her had to break it was improper lane change. Unfortunately when it went to court both cops came, but luckily it was dropped to a lower conviction.
