I have yet to see an '04, but one of the Upstaters has driven one, and he insist the trunk is smaller and the cabin space is longer from the front to the back.

I saw one when I was in Maryland last week and it seems that the seat is slightly lower. I am over 6ft and had the seat as far back as possible and as far reclined as it would go in my 02 and it was perfect for me but absolutely no space behind seat. My only complaint with the 02 was not interior space but the actual shape of the seat itself. I really beleive it needs lumbar support
When we did the Salamander my back felt quite strained at the end and then I twisted it adjusting my seat belt and that was it for me for 3 days. I was totally immobilized. I realize the 04 does not solve this problem I have resorted to utilizing a lumbar pillow and even after a recent 10 hour trip my back was fine. No, the major dimensions of the vehicle are unchanged. The doors are just thinner which suits me just fine.
It's all the other changes I'm interested in.
