Thanks for those who recommended I put the wing back on. I painted the middle
section blue (agreed with Ritchie on that one) and finally, have black wheels with a
stainless steel lip. Out of necessity these new wheels but nonetheless, a better
match I think. Only two more aesthetic mods for the outside. Remove the manufacturers logos and get me some side skirts. The car finally seems to be
coming together after two years and 30K miles.

Russ, Who was your contact at R-1, someone that if i drop your name they will know that you recomended me... They have alot of good looking wheels there...I have to see what fits the S though. Im not someone who gives a damn about a name, more how something looks and its quality. These wheelse look great...and yours look like they cost ALOT more then you paid for them.

Call Steve at Intense Motorsports. 305-234-3900 but I've got bad news for ya.
The problem is, their wheels (like most) are not S2000-offset friendly. You
won't be able to run anything wider than a 225 in the rear because their 17-inch
widths are 7-inches, that's it. Your 245/40/17 will NOT fit on their wheels. If you
got their black Spoon SW-388 replica in the 16x7
you could put the OEM-SO-2's
on there but you'd lose .4 inches of the original 1.6-inches of stagger, which isn't much
but keep that in mind. The car would be a LOT quicker though since the Spec R
wheel weighs around 14-lbs.
