X3 vs X5 vs Dodge Ram Truck
So I was driving along in this new BMW X3 3.0 6 Speed late this afternoon on the Turnpike. My friend was in his X5 towing a couple of jet skis. Traffic cleared, the road opened up so we decided to have some fun. My friend got up to 65 and shut down (towing two skis and racing isn't recommended). I slowed down at about 80MPH. Out of no where some Dodge Ram gets behind me with these flashie light thingies. OK?
He gets real close now, tail gating me... I speed up to put some distance b/w me and him. Went up to about 90MPH. He speeds up also, rides my rear again. I speed up again, about 100+MPH. He speeds up again and rides me. Now I'm getting really agitated. I switch lanes, hit the brakes to let him pass. He gets next to me...
Oh shit, its a marked Metro Dade Dodge Ram Police Track!
The cop was... ummm... less than happy judging from his tone of voice and what he said. "Police! WTF are you doing! Pull the fock over now! Police!"
30 minutes later I got a speeding, careless driving and racing ticket.
