I was there wearing my Canes Cap & FIU Shirt. Hard to chose who to root for. Your fave team.. or the school you went to..

Here's some pics:

I didn't even bother going.

UM has sunk low to fight with FIU. Not to mention, only scoring 35 points was lame.

Yeah Keith i was actually surprised at how well FIU had been holding UM back. I thought for sure it was going to be a blow out like 56-0. FIU started going down hill after that fight... before then it was only 14-0. But oh well. I didn't stay for the end anyway.

BTW I just read this and it's interesting:

That writer is moron. Typical anti anything that has to do with Miami specially if it involves black athlete's. One helmet was taking off and used as a weapon not several...... I've seen worse. (Cough Cough) Hockey!!!!!!! But its ok because they are "WHITE" there for they are not thugs .............They are going to milk this thing for weeks.
/shrug/ Hockey has black guys. Remember the Panthers Peter Worrell? He was the "Enforcer" and always was in fights. Hockey is just a sport where it is sorta acceptable. But once a player hits the ice then the fight is broken off.

As for the game on saturday there were several players swinging helmets (The camera's only got one) around, some went back for their helmets and there were players stomping others in the head. The fight was nuts. It does not show a good image of our players down here in general.

A lot of the recruitment of Miami & FIU Players are going to be put to question as some of them already have previous arrest reports. It's sad that this is going to happen.

Oh and let's not forget about soccer. I've seen people get killed at those events.
