I had GEICO for years. With only a couple of claims over 8 years, the rates kept rising every year. I finally switched to American Express' insurance division, which is called Ameriprise. You can get a free quote here: Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance. I saved $1200 every six months on my two cars and I have higher coverage with a $100 deductible (had $500 deductible before).

Dave,
I've looked into USAA before and they've never been able to beat what Progressive's rates are for us. Come April, I'll probably check w/ them again.

I also have esurance. First of all they are not a small company. They are just online based which makes them cheaper. They are great with claims too. I got paid more than what it was worth on my previous car

Also have had Mercury Insurance, no complaints.

I'm leaning toward Esurance. Much cheaper and people seem to really be happy with the service.

Is this insurance is for active milltary personel or someone just got discharge from the milltary less then 12 months ?
I called them one time and they said since I was out of the millitary for more then 12 months I am not qualify.
