Would you all feel warm and fuzzy inside if I just said "Let's hope they all choke on a French Fry so we can start fresh?" Sheesh guys, calling me anti-American because I think our system of government is too bass-ackwards and convoluted to accomplish anything useful these days? So much for people being able to take a joke

And Tommy, I didn't say our poloticians were redneck jerkoff zipperheads, I said they should be replaced with people who are looking out for America, not lining their pockets for the next campaign. I fail to see how that's being ignorant. Obviously the "terrorist getting lucky" part of it was beyond the humor level of some, but ignorant? Hardly...

Jesus, Jeff, I think you need to take your next dose of Ritalin. The comment on terrorism was said tongue in cheek and not to be taken literally. You're intelligent enough to know the difference between the two, but for whatever reason you chose to be a hardass about it.

So discussing terrorism may not be PC considering past events, but was it really necessary to say "that was the most immature irrational assinine thing an American can say. Certainly, you are now, without any doubt, a major asshole"? Was THAT a mature thing to say? Was your inability to see the major underlying point to my statement, as opposed to the overlying joke (however poor in taste you deemed it to be), a rational thing? Isn't it a bit assinine on your part to make such a huge deal out of all of this? Was it really necessary to claim I am now a major asshole because of this?

Your insistence that I must serve in the armed forces to be an American is ignorant in it's own right...funny how I ddidn't see you on the front line in Desert Storm And do NOT insult my intelligence by claiming I don't understand what we lost as a country on 9/11 merely because I wasn't on the phone with a friend going down on one of those flights...that only makes YOU look like an immature irrational assinine American asshole.

We don't have to agree on everything, Jeff, and we certainly won't apply ourselves in the same way to the same problems. There's a difference between being passionate about a subject and being brutish, and I think you crossed the line. You may or may not change my mind on a subject, but I will respect your opinion. I can assure you, though, I won't respect the person who can't do the same to me.

Let your opinions be known, but ease up before you have a stroke.
