Traveling to South Beach
hey guys
fellow s2k'er from cali coming to visit aug 26-30th. i'll be staying in the townhouse hotel and wanted to know where to go eat/drink/passout in miami. the misses and i are big on eating (the woman likes her steaks) and even bigger on partying. let me know if you guys have any suggestions on where to go.
any feedback is appreciated! thanks!

nice i'll keep those in mind... we're more hippity hoppity people though ;]

Ruth's Chris Steak House
2320 Salzedo St, Coral Gables, FL 33134
one of the best steaks I have tried come from there. As far as partys mansions is very nice get there early lines get long place Normaly opens at 11pm-5am. South beach has some nice places to eat also just walk around nexx cafe is a good start from the beach side. The hardrock in broward also has alot of clubs and things to do t night. Be safe at night lots of drunk drivers are out.

Ruth's chris is the best steak around but if you don't feel like leaving the beach try out Barton G on West ave miami beach. They have a good american kobe ribeye. Big enough for 2 and the presentations are cool. Order a cocktail made with liquid nitrogen at the bar. You will thank me later.

If you want steak... Prime 112. I think they are THE best Steakhouse in Miami.
Don't forget to make a reservation in the morning or day before to be sure..
You can usually catch a celebrity or Pro athlete there!
Also, the new Fountainebleu hotel has several amazing restaurants, any cuisine you could want.. Japanese, steak, Italian, Chinese...
Be prepared to Pay, good restaurants on the beach aren't cheap!

go to Barton G. Ruth Prime Steak is like going to Tony Romas... dog shit. Morton's is 10x better. Prime 112 is just $$$$ where rich people and celebrities like to go cause i guess Prime 112 is good.
Since ur in the beach go to Fogo de Chao... best brazilian steak house in Miami. Kills Texas de Brazil and beats Porcao.
Mansion is a good club. Space you breath in STD's. 2nd and last time i went was a few years ago. The 2 friends I went with we all got the flu. Mynt is one of my favorite clubs, and Rock Bar right next door, both relatively small but good.
Have yet to go to LIV at the fountain bleau, suppose to be top notch.

I wouldnt go to space, i think it is an over 18 club. Mansion is nice but its only indoors. karu & Y is not on south beach but very close to there. It is indoors and outdoors with the bartenders a lot older and more experienced. You wont be squished like a sardine and numerous rooms with at least 3 or 4 DJ's throughout ..... but its better if u tell us the type of music and age group you are looking for ....
