Hehe...I went up to stuart and the whole way up in the rain my car was horrible!! I thought it was just the rain characteristics of the NSX but it wasn't...my tires were balder than a baby's bottom!! Toyo Proxies wear QUICK! (like 4,000 miles quick!!) So now I'm just stickin with michelins even though I should get the NSX-specific tire...aftermarket rims though...they don't make hte nsx tire in 275/35/18 GRRRRR

I beleive the SO2's are great for Dry weather.. and SO3's are better for Rain type weather due to the different tractions. I know the SO3's have a nice strip down the middle. I think I am def. going to be getting the SO3's now.

Let's just say I got into a fight with a couple idiot tire guys (wont say what places) trying to pull over a "You don't have to put those specific, you can just put whatever" I go ahm NO... and walked right back out. I do have to say though the guy at TK Performance in Miami Lakes new his stuff! Very nice guy and very up front. Hopefully he can get me prices i want so i can do business with him.

OH and BTW FIRESTONE quotes me $190.99 for just the tire. NO mounting, balance.. valve stem *even though I don't need a new one*, I go "Ahmm Ya know you are $20-$25 higher than others?" He couldn't give me a reply.... I go "Thanks!" walked right out.

The potenzas that come on the new STI are STICK ICKY ICKY! Even sticker than the S200-s s02s. I'm thinking about switching to those when mine wear out.

Keep us posted on the S03s.

The tires on the WRX STi are Bridgestone Potenza RE070. As far as I understand it, the OEM S02's are better than the standard RE070's. However perhaps Bridgestone may have made a special application RE070 specifically for the WRX STi, just like they made a special application S02 for the S2000.
