Tire Question
OK as most of you know, I need new tires.. BAD! I got almost 15K miles on my Original tires. I've been looking around for good prices on SO2's or other tires. Now If i decide not to go back to S02's... what's the next brand you think I should get? I'm wondering cause the SO2 is around $160 each (from what i've researched). I found some BF Goodrich's for $119 each. Of course that would mean changing all 4 tires, instead of just the 2 rear. I need some opinions before I get the tires tomorrow on which to finally get.... ANY Suggestions HELP!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Get S02's again... If not, you will change the handling of the car and for the worse also. The ONLY other tire I recommend is S03's which handle slightly better in the rain, at the expense of dry weather handling. Also make sure you get the Honda S2000 OEM S02, not the regular S02's.

Ok... Why should I get 245's instead of the 225's?? Please explain...
And Tommy, I didn't know they were "Honda S2000 OEM SO2's". When i've been looking, i've been looking for Bridgestone Potenza's SO2's...
Sorry for the dumb ?'s guys, I just don't wannt mess up my car.

I LOVE S2Ki. Everyone so helpful Now tomorrow when I go check out some tires, I'll not only know what I want or need, I can look sharper than the dude behind the counter! Thanks a million!
Now I just gotta argue with my dad about the sizes...

The contact patch for different tires are different then the OEM S02's so you would need to get 245/45/16 for the rears.
Yes Bridgestone makes an OEM Specific S02 for our S2000. Make its the right one. I know Tire Rack sells them for sure. Not sure locally, where to get them though.
Please Cindy, stick with the S02's. I know they're expensive, but changing the tires, especially on this car, may have extremely negative effects. I read one post of some guy in Texas that brough cheapo tires and ended up crashing. And if you do change, STAY AWAY from BF Goodwich, they suck. Remember you get what you pay for...

If you can wait for the S-02, call Erick or Carlos @ Braman Honda Parts Deparment and tell them that Chris send you & that you are a friend of mine. They will hook you up with a special price. Phone # 305-266-9900 ask for Parts and ask for Erick or Carlos.

But Chris, is Parts open today? I am gonna go probably in a couple hours to get the tires. I need tires QUICK, with all this rain I can't drive on the Expressway cause while driving ontop of the overpasses, I loose control. I get NO traction and start to Fish tail. TRUST ME, it isn't fun! I haven't been able to use my car all weekend long because of it. I NEED MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!
