I take offense to the CORE members part ?

How does one know if there a CORE member ?


I try to participate in everything and all...but I dunno IM scarred now

I mean core by the older peeps (who still attend meets after years) who voiced their complaints last week. And there are some, that even though they attended last week, they complained that the smoke was hurting their eyes.

If this place is still good for the majority, that's great, we'll keep it there then. That's why I asked.

I def see the issue with the smoke. If I didn't like pool, I wouldn't even consider going because it is so strong.

Does anyone know of any higher end "billiards clubs" down there that are smokeless? Gatsby's is great (and good food), but that's even further North.

I did visit the infamous auto-x for a while...

I will try to make it this week. Truthfully... smoke does burn my eyes badly... its almost always a problem.. you see me runing away at the meets all the time...

Tower shops @University and 595. I know most of the die hards (my new name fore the CORE members) are in the south, so I wasn't saying that it would be an acceptable location. I was just saying that those places exist. Maybe someone knows of one in a better location.

 

Yeah, that's kinda far up. We used to do the meets at Sofa Kings which is down the road but, funny enough, it was the Broward peeps that stopped attending.

We've also got Dave and Busters (in Dolphin Mall or Broward) and Strike Miami, if anyone wants to do a little bowling (that could be fun).

However, as I said before, many of the oldies don't even post anymore and quite frankly, if I'm going to be getting crap for suggesting changes to keep this afloat, then I'd rather not bother. The complaints about distance and changes to meets usually come from people who've never really made an effort to arrange something. Please, take it upon yourselves to schedule a meet. Mad props to Gringo for taking care of it these past couple of weeks.
