Well I wish I *had* driven the beater, not just because I wouldn't have to hassle with the repair but also because I'd have loved to been able to tell the guy "its your lucky day. Forget about it" and drive away. His 94 Civic was in worse shape than my beater and he started to give me a sob story about how its his pregnant girlfriend's birthday today. He didn't look like he was exactly wealthy, if you catch my drift.

Anyway, if it was the beater, I'd have just shrugged it off, but instead I went ahead and did the police report and called the insurance company. At least we both have State Farm, so hopefully that will make the affair easier.

Oh Gan, I can't believe it! How did you not beat the crap out of this guy?! Can you take a picture for us?

What can we do to cheer you up? (within reason, of course )

I'm sorry to hear that but glad you're ok. Gan you should also look up Fantastic Finishes in WPB... they were the ones who did the repair job on my 01 Spa Yellow and it came out perfect. Miami Chassis is excellent too, but I don't know if they've ever dealt with Spa Yellow before. Matching the paint is a bitch on the Spa Yellow. Most shops won't even touch it. Make SURE, 100% SURE that wherever you take it has done paint job on a Spa Yellow NSX or S2000 in the past. Ask for records. Make damn sure they can match the paint right. Get it in writing, if they don't they will repaint it entirely.
