shaking/vibration under accel
I'm about to take my car over to Rick Case again soon but was wondering if anybody has gone through this..
I feel a nice amount of vibration/shakes on my rear driver side area when accelerating pass 50mph I'd say.. My car has had 2 differential's and it's only been about 5k miles since the last one so I'm hoping it's not the diff, lol - Can it be a problem related to the CV's?
Also, does Neil still work at RC?

Most likely the inner CV boot. I just got rid of my shakes by swapping the inner CV boots from left to right (the driver's side wears out faster). You can perform the swap without any problems because you'll be flipping the joint around, so unless you're accelerating in reverse, you shouldn't feel the shakes. Roughly 2 hours of labor and pick up some good CV grease to regrease the joint. If you're going to replace the inner boots, you're looking at around $450-500 for the pair (of inner boots, not including outer which shouldn't need to be replaced).
