About 15 minutes ago a repo man (right now 3:20AM) knocked at the door looking for some person Ive never heard of (Lakita, I think) regarding to a repossession of a Nissan Altima. I told him he's at the wrong place through the door (I didn't open the door because its 3 in the morning and had no idea who's the person hes looking for) Then he said he needed to see an ID or else he's going to come back around the same time tomorrow night.

So I called the sheriff after he left, they told me there isn't anything they could do and told me to give them a call next time while the repo man is still here.

1. Isn't there a law where they can't knock on door after a certain time? especially wrong door!
2. Have any of you guys encounter something like this?
3. What can be done to not have him come out here knocking at 3 in the morning again?

you should've asked what company he is from so you could call them today. nothing to do now but wait.

I called the company and they were able to send out someone during the day. So it all square away. Thanks guys.
