Sorry to hear, this backs my reasoning for my shift-sleeping Friday night when I was up there.

Yeah this is all pretty fu.cked up, the worst part about it is that when i called the cops they just sent one of those public safety aids to file a report, nothing else. Thats some major bullshit!! I also learned that my deductible is 1k....good time to find that out, ill be changing that shortly. So as of now the car is waiting for the adjuster to come and see what they are gonna give me.

As a consolation prize I get to drive an M3 until my car is fixed, so thats not tooo bad, and well i meant to change my top this summer regardless so......

What's even more sad about all of this theft is what's going to happen when one of us catches the thieves in action. Right now we're moaning about some stolen seats and a cut top but I fear that one of these days someone is going to have to explain why they took certain measures to save their car....

This sucks....big time

I just hope nothing happens aroundmy hood, because I will most likely catch the thieves in the act.....but I dont think I will be in my right mind to actually differentiate right from worng and I might do something that I will regret.

Hey DRE, I remember someone saying before that they purchased an aftermarket top for $600. Since they only got your top and shift knob, you should consider purchasing this without filing a claim. First off, it should be less than a $1000, plus you won't have a claim on your record. Good luck!
