Default Oil pressure Gauge

Anyone put in a oil pressure gauge. Any modifications required to make it work?

The gauge that I am looking to install is electric. I have not looked at how the car monitors oil pressure or where the sensor is located.

Not interested in running oil lines to the cockpit. If I run lines I would run them to an oil cooler in front of radiator and install a gauge in the set up.

xviper did an excellent write-up on the installation of aftermarket oil pressure senders in this FAQ, and he also did a write up on guage installation in this FAQ. My only additional suggestion is to use an oil line from the block to a T-fitting. Then, attach the stock and new sender to the T. That way there is no chance for the adapter to break at the block.

I found the write up that Xviper did - very informative and looks like he thought it through very well.
