Default New Years Eve in South Beach

Hey guys,

I'm looking to go down to South Beach for New Years Eve for the first time. After spending so many of past New Years in NYC I thought this would be different instead of flying up to NY. Any recommendations?? I'm not looking to spend 500 bucks per person but somewhere along the lines of 100-150 per person for a New Years Eve package. It's been a while since I hit the South Beach scene and there are many places I don't recognize. I was thinking of just chilling out on Lincoln Road mostly and hopefully try and get away from all the craziness on the strip. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

Honestly, I think SoBe has gotten really ghetto for holidays. I'd rather spend that money and go to the Improv. It includes the show and dinner. And you start off the New Year with a laugh.

I stay away from South Beach on New Years, Xmas, Memorial, 4th of July, and Labor day.

Thanks for the replys. Keep them coming...

So where do you guys recommend other than South Beach?

I was hoping Lincoln Rd. wouldn't be too crazy. I'm not for the ghetto scene. I have a reservation at a hotel in the Grove so I want to hang somewhere nearby.

Lincoln Rd is a lot better, not a ghetto scene
