Default MOUNTAIN BIKING - OLETA RIVER STATE PARK

Another day of mountain biking at Oleta River State Park

WHEN:
Sunday
June 10th
10:00 AM

WHERE:
Oleta River State Park
3400 NE 163rd Street
North Miami Beach, FL

FEES:
Entrance to park is per vehicle. If one person in vehicle - $3.00. Two to eight persons in vehicle - $5.00

If you enter the park by foot or bicycle the fee is $1.00

BIKE RENTALS: (305) 957-3040
- Standard mountain bike - $18 for first 1 1/2 hours - $12 for each additional hour
- Special bike with shocks and other advanced goodies - $37 for first 1 1/2 hours
- Children's bikes - $15 for first 1 1/2 hours

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED BY PARK - Rental fee for helmets are $5

DIRECTIONS TO PARK:
Take I-95 to SR-826 East (EXIT 12B) toward N. MIAMI BEACH. Merge onto FL-826 East. Stay on for about 4 miles. End at 3400 Ne 163rd St.


Drinks, munchies, etc...are entirely up to you. However, water bottles on your bikes is recommended.

I don't have a mountain bike, so count me out.

I'm in. Please not that helmets are requierd for mountain biking. If you dont want to use a rental you can pick one up at a LBS. ( local bike shop).. I'll bring some extra gear like tubes and some tools if needed.

were doing it at oleta so that people can rent them there if they desire.

yea **** mountain biking, went to olita ysterday w/ 1 of my best friends. he was pushing me hard. anyways almost killed myself like 10 times and then finnaly nailed my knee against the suspension... awesome, cause it's the same knee i fractured last summer. So now i can barely walk. For the amateurs goin, HVAE FUN! haha
