Miami Scenic Back Roads Group Drive - Sunday 02.29.2004
OK peeps, time for another group drive...
Date/Time: Sunday, February 29, 2004 at 11AM
Meeting Location: American Airlines Arena (TripleA)
Directions:
From the North:
I-95 South to Exit 3B (the old 5A), which is NW 8th Street.
Go left onto NW 8th Street.
Take 8th Street east to Biscayne Boulevard.
AmericanAirlines Arena is directly across.
From the South:
I-95 North to NW 2nd Street.
Go north to NW 5th Street and turn right.
Follow the signs to AmericanAirlines Arena.
Itenerary:
Meet up at the American Airlines Arena at 11AM.
Group Drive to Mercy Hospital for Photo Opp.
Group Drive via scenic back roads to Matheson Hammock Park for Photo Opp.
Group Drive to Sunset Place for a late lunch/early dinner at Dan Marino's or Gameworks.
Cruise Route: TBA
Cost: $4 Admission to Matheson Hammock Park + food/fuel costs
3 Simple Rules
1. Please drive responsibly. By participating in the Miami Scenic Back Roads Group Drive you shall hold Warren (DaWorm), Tommy (mav) and S2Ki.com free from any responsibilities. You should also note that we will not be responsible for any speeding tickets, damage caused to your car and or personal injury to yourself or others.
2. Bring your two way radios.
3. Have fun.

Ok,
Update.. It'll most likely have to be sunday.. I went by there today... to check out how scenic it is....
I found a really nice spot, but its "No Parking". I hunted down Park Mgmt and got permission to take the shots.
There are 2 or 3 spots...
Kimmie, its a park on Bayfront. Tommy tells me there is a nice seafood restaurant there. (Thanks dude... hope someone knows CPR )...

I will be away on a cruise to mexico until monday, So I guess this will be the first group drive I will miss since I joined the South florida S2K family....
