OK guys, as mentioned at BB Tuesday, I'm taking a temperature reading for any interest in getting Texas S2000 owner Marcucci over here for a small gasket install and yes, it's Marcucci, not Marucci.
This would be the right time to do any fan switch and thermostat replacements
as well (in my case, Mugen). I believe the timeline is sometime in late July.
All he would need is a garage and a good set of tools. I believe he will charge
$200-$210 which includes the labor. $260 if you need the gasket. He has family/friends in West Palm Beach so it'll be a visit/business for him on this occasion. I'll let this run for a few days and see what we can come up with.
This is one mod fellas that would serve you well to be installed by someone who's done a few. Any questions related to the install itself, please direct them to the guru. I believe Aaron (Bigpurp) first suggested this so I PM'd
Marcucci and this is how things got started.
Current count
1. Russ
2. Aaron
3. Mitch (pending)

Count me in.
I know there are some things we'll need to make the install go easier (gaskets, loctite, etc) based upon what I've read in other threads, but Todd should know what those are. Maybe he can chime in here. I'd like to have all that stuff ordered and in my hands b4 he gets here.
As far as a garage, we can use my cousin's bike shop in Davie if we need to...

Only parts needed are the washers listed above, coolant , loctite "blue," and of course the insulator. If we get 6 or more people I can provide the insulators for $50 ea.
Tool list:
- Flathead and phillips screwdrivers
- 10, 12, and 14mm sockets, driver, and 3", 6" (2) extensions
- 10, 12, 14, and 22mm wrenches
- U-joint for your ratchet (or 12mm swivel)
- Torque wrench
- Pliers (for hose clamps)
- Dremel and grinding bit/stone
- Loctite or Permatex medium-strength threadlocker ("blue")
If we nail this down I can provide tools by shipping them down to FL. Also, I am willing to drop the labor price to $180 if we get 6 or more people- but we will have to stretch the work over 2-3 days. I can probably do 3 a day which would be a 12 hour day.
July 30th works for me. The weekend before is out, I think this is the only weekend I can dedicate to it. I'd like to nail this down within the next week, if possible, so I can make flight arrangements... thanks guys!

I'm interested in seeing the install, so I'll keep my eyes on this thread. I'm sure that some of the locals could provide most (if not all) of the tools, then you could save the hassle of shipping yours over.
Just FYI - July 30th is a Friday. The weekend of July 31/ August 1 (Sat/Sun) is a Sebring HPDE with Chin Motorsports, so I'll be up there from the 30th to the 1st.

I'll gladly come this next weekend if someone buys the $600 ticket.
I'd like to plan a month ahead to keep the ticket price down... then I will spring for the ticket price.
If you guys are willing to buy the ticket I'll come down to $180 on the labor for 3-5 people. 6 or more and I will come down to $160...
