, if u are clever u could have "stole" some other parts on your car i.e. cluster, headlights, etc then called your insurance so u could have a bigger claim which would net u more $$$$$ hahaha.

What I cant believe is that I suggested a few positive things we could do and nobody has responded. It seems like the seat theft threads are from those who never post in our community until they get jacked. They always seem to be the one's who never install an alarm or take any of the precautions that have been posted on this forum numerous times. I guess I'll just wait a couple more weeks until someone else posts and we all do nothing. So sad

not sure if seat lock will do the trick. i got my antenna 'stolen'... i put a little loctite on it, when they tried to steal it and saw it didn't come off, the ripped the rubber of and left just the base. If some dude tries to jack ur seats and can't cause u have seat locks, he might still **** u over by cutting them up.

but yea seat locks might work

YOU ARE WRONG. CHECK THE FACTS, THE VAST MAGORITY OF THEFTS HAVE HAPPENED TO CARs WITHOUT AN ALARM OR SEAT LOCKS.

I've been following this for years. If you own this car, and you don't have seat locks and an alarm you will be a statistic.

at this point everyone on this site should be aware of the problem and take appropriate measures.

A garage is ideal, but not everyone has that luxury.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but at this point with the documented problems with theft on this car, if you don't take the time and money to install an alarm, it's your own fault.
I agree with Mitch on this one . I have seen that the trgeted cars are no alarm and non seat locked ones . I have an alarm that will let me know when to shoot .

I would rather have cut seats than no seats . It is easier to drive the car with cut seats than none at all . Less expencive too
