How can i protect my beloved S.
Hi there, i am new to the forums and am also new in owning an s2k so hello to all south FL S owners. i know that s2k's are infamous for being thieves favorite treat, our seats retail for a good amount of money on the street, and its relatively easy to brake into the S (slash the top). I am one notch lower from full blown paranoid (okay maybe am exaggerating) lol, but i was wondering what you guys do to protect your s2k's? i live in a relatively quite neighborhood, i have a nice 6 foot concrete/steel fence and my pup a rottweiler. but how can i protect it when i am not home? per say i go to the movies or go to a mall? and i know i know if they want it bad enough they will get it, but how can i make it that much more difficult for these scumbags.

Garage, good insurance, alarm, firearm..... In that order. Mines been stolen once. If you leave it outside, it's not a matter of if but when.

First of all, stop with the stupid machismo gun bullshit. Someone is gonna read this and think it's ok to shoot someone just because they are stealing your car, then they are going to go to jail for manslaughter/murder. The only way you have the right to shoot is in defense of your life or someone elses, your car DOES NOT count!!!
All you need to protet your car is seat locks, an alarm, and common sense. If you know you are going somewhere where the car is gonna be out of sight for awhile (like the movies), take someone else's car or park it where there is a lot of traffic/high visibility.
If thieves want your shit they WILL find a way (i.e. a tow truck). Your job is to make is as difficult as possible for them to take it.
