Default Help: Quickest Route to Miami Lakes?

Seeing how most of the group resides south of me (Lake Worth), I thought you guys would know the quickest way to Miami Lakes.

I will be dealing with the morning rush...need to be there by 9:30am. I came up with two options:

1. Turnpike to SR826 (aka Palmetto Expressway) to Ludlam Road (aka NW 67th Ave).

2. Turnpike to SR869 (aka Sawgrass Expressway)/I-75 to Ludlam Road.

Would one of these be quicker than than the other?

I'm thinking the Sawgrass would be quicker...the last time I took the Palmetto at 9 in the morning, it was a parking lot.

I'd think that choice 2 would be the fastest route. However, I'm hardly the expert on this, so don't go by what I say.

Option 2, we don't call the 826 Palmetto, the "Crawlmetto" for nothing.

If you're coming from Lake Worth, I would say Option 1 - take the turnpike down to 826. You'll only be on 826 for a few miles and traffic won't be bad. I'm on this stretch of the Palmetto ever morning (from 27th to 47th) and every lunch break from 47th to 67th.

OK 2 Options I recommend.

#2 like you said. I-75 South till 826 East, exits right off at Miami Lakes Drive (154th).. BUT BE AWARE once you pass Miami Gardens Drive on I-75 it slows down DRASTICALLY. Or depending on where in Miami Lakes you need to go, you can take I-75 get off on Miami Gardens Drive (186th) head east to 67th Avenue.

and the other option i would recommend is Turnpike all the way down to N.W. 57th Avenue when you get off make a left at the light and there you can go to Miami Gardens Drive (186th) and take a right to go to N.W. 67th Avenue.

Hope these are other options to consider! Need anything else as to how to get to an exact place in Miami Lakes PM me, i live in the area.
