Good Detailing Place
#2
I've never been able to find a detailer service that meets my expectations, except for the one in my own garage. I'm not saying that good detail shops don't exist, but after having the finish on two cars ruined by "professional detailers", I will always do my own work.

IMO, it's still not worth it for an older car (and 3.5 years isn't old to me). I've had plastic molding burned and scratched by carelss operators of high speed buffing machines, polishing compound and wax embedded in places I could never get it out of, not to mention burning and scratching of the paint.
In the time it would take for you to drive it to the detail shop and back, you could have the job done.

Josh & Joey, I agree w/ you both 100%. I do not let anyone else wash/wax/detail my car just because I know it won't be done the way I'd do it.
With that said, if you're still looking for a place to do this for you, perhaps you want to contact Brian (SoFlaNSX on this board). I know he detailed a member's Berlina S and the member was quite happy with the results.
(Disclaimer: I have not seen Brian's work, have no financial gain should you go to him, and this is not a recommendation of his work. I'm simply stating what came up in a previous thread. As some of us know, you need to be careful who you recommend. )

I agree with you guys and I would not take my SA to one, but this is for my wifes 3.5 year old accord, that has never been detailed, and I am just to lazy to deal with it.
