I'm in for driving up on Saturday. People up north can meet at the Pompano service plaza on the turnpike.

I am. I checked and supposebly there are e85 stations along the way, but I will be bringing extra 5 gallon cans of e85 just in case. I have 10 5 gallon cans. I can bring some for you, but how many we can bring together dependss on if anybody would be willing to carry an extra can or two in their trunk for us so we can get up there safely. can anyone help us e85'ers out with this?

like oliver said, i drove this past weekend to simply clean and i was fine. i didn't bring an extra 3 gallon jug i had due to lack of space but i was fine without it. fill up the tank at the snapper creek service plaza. west palm beach and the fort pierce/port st. lucie service plaza has e85 as well. after the fort pierce/port st.lucie service plaza there is not e85 till the turkey lake service plaza which is 7 miles north of i-4. there is ~40 miles between each service plaza. after fort pierce/port st.lucie you will pass 2 service plaza's without e85. so you're looking at about ~120 miles between the fort pierce/port st.lucie service plaza and the turkey lake service plaza.

fill up at the port st.lucie service plaza and you should be ok the rest of the way up. there is no e85 stations that i know of in orlando. the closest one to orlando is the station at the turkey lake service plaza.

and oliver if you need a t cover for the trip, lmk.

yea, im bringing e85 gallons just in case. I dont want to risk that, especially when you tell me there are no e85 stations in orlando and the 120 mile gaps when im getting barely 16 miles a gallon and my fuel gauge stops working once its halfway empty. i would like to bring a couple jugs just in case...

I think youll be alright so long as you dont get crazy with your right foot. Even at 16 mpg you would get over 160 miles and the largest gap is 120.

Good Call Brock. I misunderstood and thought the departure date was changed to Saturday. 7 Friday will probably be just fine. I can carry a jug of E85 for you if you need Brock.
