"Judge Russ Heldman cleared Walker of all charges, saying that flashing lights to warn of a police officer is protected by the First Amendment."

Cops are thieves in uniform.

Ask what Ticket clinic have to say about your situation.

One day I was headed north on the turnpike when I realized that there was a trap for the suth bound so obviously I warned upcoming taffic. As I traveled flashing my lights for a few moments I noticed there was a car flashing its lights back at me, it was an FHP, I waved at him as I passed continuing flashing my lights.

If it was here in south florida I probably would.

But just realized that the cost of gas and toll and missing a day of work would be more expensive than the $96.

I wonder if I could write to them and tell them that I dont live any where near? perhaps they'll alow me to do it all by mail?

IDK, I'd go as a matter of principle.. they might dismiss the ticket, in which you just lose the day of work, the trip and the fuel.

FYI...you only pay court fees if you are found guilty.

I don't know why you people get mad at cops doing their jobs. If you want to bitch and complain, go to the state legislature for that. Get mad at them, they are the ones who pass these laws. The only thing the cops are doing is enforcing the laws. However stupid or retarded the laws may be, they are only doing their jobs.

Now you know not to flash your high-beams, so if you keep doing it, blame yourself.

Hilarious how people get caught breaking the law and they blame it on the cops.
