Very nice, GDM.... how's the finish? Can't really tell on the pic... Are you happy with the result?

i like it...

 

the sides around the vents are very very smooth and the grills I cut fit perfectly behind the metal supports under the hood. only down fall is the guy when he was sanding slipped a lil and by the top vent u can see where the paint got a lil F"d up but its all good cutting looks almost OEM he did a good job. I cant really blame the hood scratch on him more of the sand papers fault for un raveling (sp)

 

Has anyone tried doing this mod yet where the vents are on both sides of the hood?

Yes, JCA has it on both sides. Very sharp for his set up and effecctive too.
