Finally Going Down to Visit
Hey...
SO.... I'm actually going to show up in Florida.. well, sorta... 1/2 day.. I'm taking a boat ...err..ship out for a week so I'm in Miami for a night..
I'm staying on Biscayne Blvd near the Port of Miami on the 30th... Any suggestions on places I should check out, good place to eat (nearby)..and of course, somewhere to chill out after dinner for a bit?
Thanks

No joke bro... I fly in Sunday afternoon..... You got any recommendation on places to eat (I don't have a car so I want to keep it close by)...
and of course, if people are around, stop by... I'm up for a "few" drinks.. like days gone by..

Well, the port of miami is downtown which has lots of new places to dine and the metro-mover will get you around for free. You can start with Bayside....Chili's, Los Ranchos, Hooters and others. In downtown there are a couple new steak houses that are pretty good and there's also the new place on Biscayne and Flagler called Mia. A little pricey but great food and drinks.
If you hop on the Metro-mover and ride over to Brickell, there is Mary Brickell Village which has lots of places to eat: Rosa Mexicana, PF Changs, Perricone's...etc.
Gordon Biersch, Morton's, Capital Grille, Azul, Atrio, Segafredo's....all on Brickell and also accessible via Metromover and Tom and Jerry. =o)
Google some of those and get familiar with the area and ask away..... =o)
