Chin Motorsports is good. You can also check out PBOC, http://www.pbocflorida.com/mainmenu.html.

When you do their driving school, they will give you a quick classroom instructions before going on the track. You would then ride with an instructor who will help you apply that knowledge. I would recommend also picking up a good book (like "Going Faster") so you can educate yourself.

DrivenasaFl.com is another group that has track days.

I did a NASA day it was a great experience, I learned a lot about my car and pushed it way further then possible on public roads.

We have a few instructors on the board.. Fyrestrike, CoralDoc, and Rene. They are all AMAZING drivers, and will teach you a lot about driving the S2k

Chin will be at Sebring International Raceway on October 10-11 and November 7-8. Be sure to sign up on the day registration opens to secure a novice spot at this popular track. Sebring is only about 2.5 hours from Miami.

Chin will be at Sebring on August 22nd too, but novice registration is full with a waiting list. Please come on up for a visit to see what a track day is all about, and I'll be happy to arrange a ride for you out on track ($20 passenger fee). Bring a helmet (2000 or newer) and closed-toed shoes.

NASA will be at PBIR (Palm Beach International Raceway) on Sept 12, and then at Hoemstead on 12-13 December.

Autocross is another excellent way to learn how to drive. Gulf Coast Autocrossers (located near Fort Myers) is running a school on saturday August 15, with racing on the 16th.

Equipe Rapide (autocross) will be at PBIR for a night event on Saturday 22 Aug, and at Homestead on 13 Sept.. PCA is running an autocross at Bank Atlantic Center on 18 Oct. There's no formal school for these, but experienced drivers will be able to ride with you during competition if you're new to the sport.

So, there is plenty to do with your car - hope to see you out on track or at one of our autocrosses.

Check out HookedOnDriving.com as well.

They dont come down here as much as the others, but they have smaller turnouts, which means less traffic.
