I see as a misfortune .. some people think we are crazy when you tell them we actually go over 90MPH .. it's about your perspective ,..

I feel sorry for the dude. Poor call but if nothing this awful would have happened it would of being a lot of fun. The most fun things in life require a lot of risk.

i use to go out the day before/after hurricanes on wave runners w/ my best friend; wore full wet suit, and motocross helmet.

i grew up surfing typhoon condition 1 emergency on Okinawa, only time the water cleared the reefhead.. the MP's would show up an if we came in they hauled us home to our parents, after the first time we never came in to the shore... never had a fear... now days I tell my child don't play in the water run off from the storm, it could sweep her away.. or no you can't go outside can't you see the tree's bending sideways... yes I know what I did was crazy.. thankfully no one got hurt.. hope this guy gets better...
