Wow - I'm surprised not to hear any good responses. I'm going. I just got race tires and a sway bar so I'm dying to try them out. I usually meet with 1 to 5 friends at Publix on I595 and Flamingo or at my house nearby at 7:15am to head down together. If anyone from the north wants to drive down with us, give me a call at 954-444-0581.
See you there,
Bill

In our Spec Miatas Rick kicked my ass in DSP with some excellent driving, and I squeaked out 2nd place over a VW R32 driver by 0.005 seconds!
It was great to see all of the S2000 drivers there and I hope you didn't miss the masterful display by Greg Hahn driving a red MY 2000 car in AS. He also drove his friend's Yellow MY 2004 car for one run and pronounced them very similar in performance. If his times are any indication, then that's true. There was only a 0.2 second spread among all three runs - now that's consistency.
BTW, 2 classing observations: I spoke with one S2000 driver about being misclassed in stock due to his carbon fiber hood and aftermarket wheels. The hood puts you into SM2. Also, someone ran their modified S2000 in SM, it should be in SM2 with all the other 2-seat sportscars.
Where were you Mav? And, did anyone take pictures?
