Just found some interesting info on a house near my old one in NY, the house was about a 10 min drive from my home in NY this is what supposedly happ not the movies

wow. but why did they stay there for 28 days i wonder. I would have left as soon as i started to hear the voices.

that book came out in 1979ish. this is old old old history - why the sudden interest?

Edit: It's also been proven to be a hoax - a fraud...

If you liked the movie, the book was even better - I read the book years before the movie came out....

but it doesn't change the fact that it was a buncha bullshit

wanna know the real story now?


Theres a bar down the street from the house, the kid went to the bar got trashed told everyone he was going to kill his family. no one believed him he went home killed them blammed it on the house, house was sold new owners claimed the walls were bleeding and this and that. the truth is it was a hot and humid summer and after the murders they just put new wall paper up over the blood. humidity+new wall paper= peeling or bleeding threw..... house is gorgeous in person

Regardless of the outcome...it was an awesome book, and a great horror flick...This made for some great reading, I appreciate the posts. I am tired of reading about these CRAP cars and so on!!!!! Friggin' S2000s....

I love history...
