WTT: 4.57R geared diff for your stock diff NEW $$
Hey guys,
I am looking to swap differentials (whole pumpkin) with someone that has a stock 06 diff. in perfect condition with low miles (under 15k). My gear set has around 5k miles on it and my diff has 9k miles on it. The set was properly broken in and has had it's diff oil changed with Kaaz diff oil (good stuff) every 3k miles. One of the diff oil changes was done by Hunterzz. The installation of the gear set was done by Elton Lo at raceline usa. If you do some research, raceline usa has an impeccable installation record for gears so I don't foresee any problems. The gear and pinion are perfect and the acceleration is awesome! Unfortunately, I never got to take it to the track so I feel like I'm wasting them away. This is why I'm selling. There is a slight whine at 60mph (sounds like an sc), but that is to be expected with all after market gear sets.
I bought the richmond 4.57R final drive gear and pinion from ricks s2k accessories, along with the yellowbox.
I paid:
Gear and pinion: $590
Yellowbox: $90
Shipping $40 (around)
Installation: $350 (installed @ racelineusa by Elton Lo)
Kaaz diff oil x2 $60
=========================
Total: $1130
I am looking for: $550 FIRM and we split the cost of the diff swap.
I got quoted $150 for each car for the diff. swap from corner3 garage in lake forest.
You get: my complete 06 diff with 9k miles on it (gear was installed @ 4k), along with the yellow box.
I get: your complete stock 06 diff with under 15k miles on it.
test drives will be given to serious buyers only. I don't like to give joyrides .
PM me if you have any questions.
Thanks!
-Geoff

Haha... you talked about going back to stock WAY back when I bought the seat from you. Too bad my car is an 05 with too many miles
Bump for a great seller. This fool installed my seat for me, helped me fit my stockie back in the passenger side, then waited for AAA to come because my battery died.
