Thanks for the bumps guys

Here's a pic of the Sportura Kinetic limited edition (1000 pieces worldwide) with the Honda F1 gear and lists for $5700:

Real carbon fiber face along with carbon fiber inserts in the links.

I know many people associate Seiko with cheap timepieces, but internationally, they actually have quite a history within horology since 1881 and have had an enviable heritage in producing timepieces with cutting edge technology that rivals any of the Swiss brands and at a much more competitive pricepoint. All of the movements in their timepieces are made in-house (even the oil!) whereas there are pricier Swiss brands that outsource their movements but charge quite a bit more just because of the "Swiss" association. Seiko actually won "Watch of the Year" at Baselworld 2006 for their new Spring Drive collection. One of the more interesting and underrated watch companies in the world, in my opinion. They're kind of like Honda; something for everyone, whether it's a $125,000 made to order Sonnerie, a $4000 Spring Drive, a $600 Honda F1 chronograph, or a $70 automatic, Seiko's got the market covered!

Thanks for keeping this up top fellas!

Whoever picks these up will not regret it! If you look at all the other F1 watches on the market now (ie. Oris Williams F1, Tag Heuer McLaren-Mercedes F1, Sauber-BMW Certina etc.) they are all pricier, but arguably, the Seiko Honda F1 is designed with just as much sportiness, function and style for far less $$$ (unless you're buying the limited edition Kinetic with F1 gear cog listed above, hehe). Seriously, sapphire crystal (anti-scratch, anti-shatter along with anti-reflective coating) on a $500 watch (even if it's quartz) is good stuff!! I've gotten more comments when I wear this piece than any of the other ones in my collection. It's my new favorite

Bump for an AWESOME watch. I was able to pick one up last year at Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara for 25% off.
