The only downfall about KVs is the ANNOYING and EMBARASSING chicken cluck-cluck-cluck sounds at startup, idle, and especially, and most pronounced, at engine shutdown.

The sounds at idle aren't that bad, but man, the engine shutdown noise is just atrocious sounding.

But I suppose the pros dramatically outweigh the cons, and as you see from the oil blowby accumulation in the catchcan , the KVs definitely cure this problem, especially if your car runs on boost, drive it hard often, or track it frequently.

Could be placebo, but the engine definitely felt "peppier" and more agile after I installed these on mine.

Just to keep you guys up to date. I installed the Krank Vents and a small catch can on Friday and everything worked out great. I went to Buttonwillow on Saturday and probably caught no more than 4 drops of oil in my catch can. This was after 4 hours of normal driving and five 20 minute sessions on track. I also had two spins, one of which was really nasty where my car spun 900 degrees and stopped in the dirt. The other was a small 360 degree spin on pavement. Despite all this I still didn't get too much oil in the catch can.

I didn't blow any smoke either so I'm assuming these things are doing their job correctly.

any pictures of how you installed and routed the lines to the can?

looking to do this myself, but i'm not sure if 07's will benefit, or if it'll even work on 07's. any info?
